Welcome to MetaScribe Communities and Projects

MetaScribe is our blanket name for a range of facilities, services and products which aim to encourage knowledge and information workers to get involved in exploring, defining and developing their own information spaces. Currently, MetaScribe comprises four communities:

• Knowledge Mapping
• Knowledge Architecture
• Taxonomy (TaxWorks)
  
• Topic Maps

Anyone can join a MetaScribe community simply by registering. You can view the Home pages and read more about each community by clicking through the links in the menu on the left. Each online community has its own Wiki where issues relating to the subject of interest can be discussed. 

TaxWorks is a special type of community. It consists of a number of separate sub-communities, each of which is interested in collaborating in the development of a taxonomy for their particular sector of commerce or industry.
